Founded by Dr. Marco Federici, winner of the Royal Television Society Award for Best Director (All Genres) for his feature documentary RICO (The RIchard Demarco Story) with Succession's Brian Cox, MLC is known for producing bold, story-led programming that combines cinematic craft with journalistic precision.

From prime-time television to innovative digital formats, MLC delivers engaging content that connects with audiences worldwide. The company created The Logans: Band of Sisters — the BBC’s first-ever IGTV series — which led to a national prime-time documentary, showcasing MLC’s forward-thinking approach to storytelling. This series also represents a number of Digital Firsts for MLC, including launching YouTube youth-brand channels for corporate clients such as Thomas Cook.

MLC also specialises in academic and heritage documentaries, including the acclaimed Restoration Reels series for Historic Environment Scotland, documenting the restoration of the Glasgow School of Art’s Mackintosh Building.

Marco’s acclaimed feature documentary RICO has screened internationally, winning multiple awards and festival selections from Toronto to Berlin. It was acquired and broadcast by the BBC, TVP1 (Poland) and Amazon Prime in the US.
